A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Roman slave Pseudolus wants to be a free man. His master, Hero, promises to set him free if he can get the girl next door to marry Hero. Unfortunately, the girl has been promised to a war hero and cannot break out of that promise, even though she loves Hero. Pseudolus then sets up a series of schemes, mistaken identities, and misadventures, all in the name of true love. A beloved musical farce.

The Murder Room

Attractive young bride Mavis shoots her husband Edgar for his money and leaves the body in a secret basement room. What she doesn't know is that the gun was loaded with blanks and that there is a secret exit from the secret room. So when the police investigate Edgar's disappearance, Mavis is kept hopping, making up lies to explain it. Add Mavis's affair with one of the characters and the unexpected arrival of her new stepdaughter and her fiance, and the pace is madcap. A funny mystery farce.

As You Like It

Evil Duke Frederick takes power from Duke Senior, banishing him and his daughter, Rosalind, to the Arden Forest. Before they leave, Rosalind falls in love with Orlando. Orlando, in fear for his life, flees to Arden too, but to another part of the Forest. Rosalind is hiding as a man, Ganymede, and in this guise talks to Orlando about his love for her. In the meantime, a number of love subplots are occurring, and all resolves when Duke Frederick is converted to goodness and welcomes everyone home.

The Hollow

Lord and Lady Angkatell invite a number of guests to their manor for the weekend, including Dr. and Mrs. Cristow. A tangle of relationships abounds. When the doctor is shot and killed, the number of suspects grows in usual Christie fashion, and when the killer is revealed, there is a satisfying end to the mystery.

A young schoolteacher arrives in a small village for his first job, only to find that the village is cursed. Everyone in town is stupid until a marriage occurs between two feuding families. Then he finds that he will fall under the same curse unless he leaves within 24 hours. But alas, he falls in love with a girl in one of the families. Does he break the curse and marry the girl? Come see!
