NOMINATION PROCEDURES
The deadline for 2017 award
nominations was January 2, 2018. Nominations for all awards may be submitted by any T&C member in good standing. Last year's Season Ticket Holders and Gold Patrons may vote for their favorites in the following categories: Town and Country Cup for Best Production Best Actor in a Leading Role Best Actress in a Leading Role Best Actor in a Supporting Role Best Actress in a Supporting Role Excellence in Design Award Award Future Star Award The AC Daily Award, Marion Kolman Award, Service Award, Rafters Award, Jr. Rafters Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award are awarded to Town and Country Members by the Town and Country Board of Directors. |
ABOUT THE AWARDS
A. C. Daily and Marion Kolman Awards: Awards given for outstanding performances at the Town and Country Players. Though past performances may be taken into account, the performer must have performed in the past season.
Town and Country Cup for Best Production: Awarded to a production that demonstrated outstanding merit on all levels: acting, directing, production values, etc. The Cup will be displayed in the theater. Service Award: An award to thank the member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty for the current season. Rafters Award: An award for the member who has shown excellence in technical or backstage work. Jr. Rafters Award: An award for the Junior Member who has shown excellence in technical or backstage work. Future Star Award: This award is given to a Junior Member in good standing who has given an outstanding performance(s) during the past season. Excellence in Design Award: Recognizes individual artists and their innovative, creative design work on individual shows. |
